Epi-V-backed Guardian continues its successful expansion strategy
14 March 2011
Epi-V-backed designer and manufacturer of integrated well servicing products, Guardian has achieved a number of milestones over the past few months, including:
- Appointing Sahand Behnejad as Middle East Manager, who brings with him 20 years of management experience of international service companies in the UK, Middle east and Africa. His role will see Sahand ensure clients in the Middle East receive the best standards of sales and support services available in the region in addition to the benefits from Guardian's technological levels.
- Acquiring a local machine shop to further strengthen its manufacturing capability and maintain short delivery times. The deal adds a further six machines to the existing 14 which include various CNC mills, lathes and spark eroders. Keeping the manufacturing in house is part of Guardian's key strategy to ensure that it has complete control over quality and that low volume items required by clients can be manufactured promptly. This is also key in the rapid prototyping and development programs that are required to meet client deadlines.
- Signed agreements with Titan Specialties to distribute and provide maintenance services for each company's cased hole logging product lines. Titan will be a distributor for Guardian products in North and South America, and Guardian will be a distributor for Titan's cased hole logging products in the Eastern hemisphere.
